DIS Sensors QG Series
Reliable and continuous angle measurement is crucial for the operation, safety, and functionality of machinery as well as static structures. The DIS Sensors QG Series meets this need by accurately measuring the tilt or inclination of objects in relation to gravity using MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) technology.
Inside the sensor, a micro-mechanical chip responds to changes in orientation, causing variations in electrical capacitance. These changes are converted into an analog voltage signal that directly corresponds to the tilt angle: as the tilt increases, the voltage changes proportionally. This design ensures precise and reliable measurements, providing a clear and easy-to-interpret reading of inclination for various industrial applications.
Key features
The QG Series comes in various sizes—30mm (QG30), 40mm (QG40), 60mm (QG65), and 70mm (QG76). Users can select between 1-axis or 2-axis configurations based on their measurement needs, with a standard measuring range of ±30 degrees suitable for most industrial uses.
Output options include analog voltage (0.5 – 4.5 V), current loop (4-20mA), and digital protocols like CANopen or RS232. The sensors are housed in durable plastic casings that provide ingress protection ratings of IP67 or IP69K for enhanced resistance to dust and water.
