Pressure Testing & Burst Testing Sensors with Software

PRESSURE TESTING & BURST TESTING SENSORS WITH SOFTWARE
21 August 2024

ADM Instrument Engineering stocks USB digital pressure sensors that are supplied complete with software for carrying out pressure and burst tests.

 They are simple to use.

USB Digital Pressure Sensor for Pressure Testing

The ESI GS4200-USB range of digital pressure sensors are designed to measure, analyse and record pressure directly on your pc or laptop without the need for costly I/O interface boards. You can measure up to 16 pressure inputs simultaneously, just by using a standard USB hub.

The pressure sensor is powered by your computer's USB port. The pressure sensor is supplied with software that allows you to capture the data, which can be displayed in graphical or tabular form, with a choice of pressure units and fully adjustable scales. Data can be saved to a file or exported to Excel.

You can even create customised test certificates within the software.

USB Digital Pressure Sensor for Burst and Leak Testing

The ESI GD4200-USB is highly accurate and gives a clear visual PASS / FAIL indication, removing the opportunity for human error.

The ESI GD4200-USB has a faster response time than the GS4200-USB and has a selectable reading rate up to 1000 readings per second (1200Hz). This ensures that all pressure fluctuations are captured, and you do not miss a thing!

This pressure sensor is also powered by your computer’s USB port and again you can capture data from 16 sensors simultaneously.

Similarly, the GD4200-USB pressure sensors are supplied with software that allows you to capture and analyse the data, and to create customised test certificates.

This software includes a Pressure Leak Test feature.

Just follow 5 simple steps.

  • Choose the desired duration and tolerance of the leak test
  • Start the standard pressure test
  • When you're ready, start the leak test
  • You can view the tolerance levels on the graph screen, which are marked by dotted red lines. The duration of the leak test is also shown.
  • When the leak test ends, a pass or fail will pop up. Easy!

The following video shows just how easy it is:

All ESI’s USB pressure transducers incorporate ESI's unique Silicon-on-Sapphire sensor technology, giving you outstanding performance and excellent stability over a wide temperature range.
