The multi-purpose functionality of the ESI-USB Plus removes the need for the user to purchase, install, and set up individual specialised equipment that measures one parameter alone.

What is the ESI-USB Plus? 

The ESI-USB Plus is a digital interface box that extends the functionality of the existing ESI-USB software. When used together, they enable comprehensive data collection, trend and display data across various fields and applications, as well as create and print customised reports and test certificates.  

It allows the connection of UniMeasure draw wire sensors, analogue output POSITAL encoders, and Laumas weight transmitters, for example, to mention just a few.

How Does the ESI-USB Plus Work? 

The ESI-USB Plus interface allows the ESI-USB software to be used with a wide range of analogue transmitters – with current or voltage output, and to measure temperature with a separate PT100 temperature sensor at the same time. In fact, the ESI-USB Plus can connect up to 16 devices with one software installation if a USB hub is used. 

ESI-USB Plus can measure:

• Displacement 

• Density 

• Temperature 

• Sound Levels 

• Torque 

• Vibration 

• Humidity   

The software allows the user to connect the transducer to the laptop or PC. Setting up the ESI-USB Plus with the software takes about 10 minutes, and you would be up and running.  

The ESI-USB Plus enables real-time monitoring and analysis of any user-defined engineering unit across a range of parameters, and can provide high-speed sample rates for test and laboratory applications.

With this device, you will be able to see on the same screen or report the results of displacement, weight force as the PT100 temperature and GD4200 pressure information.  

Features of the ESI-USB Plus 

The ESI-USB Plus can run with any type of analogue transmitter or transducer with a 4-20mA or 0-10V output.  

They are USB 2.0 and USB3.x compatible, and work with most recent versions of Windows operating systems.
