Hygrometer vs Humidity and Temperature Meter: What is the Difference?

A hygrometer is an instrument that measures the humidity or content of water vapour in the air, whereas, a humidity and temperature meter (thermometer), can do that, plus measure the air temperature as well.  

Both Lutron models: HT-3006HA and HT-3027SD are suitable for various applications, such as heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), environmental monitoring, agriculture, building maintenance, industrial processes (manufacturing: pharmaceuticals, food processing, electronics, etc.), and more.   

However, if air temperature needs to be monitored, too, then Lutron HT-3006HA is the more suitable option.
