RF Field Strength Power Meter with SD Card Data Logger
The Lutron EMF-831SD measures the strength of radio frequency fields. These fields can be present around sources such as GSM, CDMA, TDMA, WiFi, WiMAX, Bluetooth, security systems, cordless phones, and Zigbee. This meter has a broad frequency range, capable of detecting frequencies from 50MHz to 3.5GHz. It can display reading in different units including µW/m², mW/m², W/m², mV/m, V/m, µA/m, mA/m, and µW/cm² to mW/cm².
It's supplied with a 3-axis RF sensor and features a user-friendly. This meter has a built-in a real-time SD card data logger, with built-in clock and calendar. The advantage of this system is that there is no need for specialised software. You slot the SD card into your PC or laptop and transfer your data directly to a spreadsheet. A 16GB SD card is supplied.
The Lutron EMF-831SD's sampling frequency is adjustable, ranging from every second up to one hour. An alarm alerts you if the measured data exceeds a predetermined threshold.
