Gauge Dampener / Snubber
Description
This gauge dampener (also known as a gauge snubber) has been designed to protect pressure gauges from pressure spikes caused by fluid hammer by decreasing the orrifice size in the line. This retricts the flow to the gauge, so that any sudden pressure spikes will be restricted by the orifice and dissipated once they reach the gauge.
