DIS QG40N-KDXYh-080-ASP-CM-UL
A tilt switch is a type of switch that switches at a certain angle as compared to the horizon (similar to the old mercury switch).
This is in fact an inclinometer with a switching output. Since gravity serves as a reference maximum mounting freedom is achieved.
The tilt switches from DIS Sensors are based on MEMS technology and intelligent microcontroller algorithms. This twin axis switch can be implemented with any desired switching angle between ±80°. The transistor output is PNP.
Other options in the portfolio are a SIL1 / PLc tilt switch for safety applications, a single axis ±170° version (QG40N-KIXv-170-ASP-CM-UL) , also NPN output option. A separate configurator software & cable is required to configure the switch (angles, delay time and filtering).
