Non-Contacting Radar Flow Sensor
Description
The Pulsar Measurment Microflow uses non-contacting radar technology mounted at a 45-degree angle to measure the velocity of the water surface in an open channel. It can be a far more cost effective option that installing a primary measuring device such a weir or flume. It may also be a viable option where the hydraulics of a site do not allow for restriction within the channel.
The MicroFlow can be installed as a standalone sensor that transmits data via RS485 Modbus RTU, or it can be integrated with the Pulsar FlowCERT controller and a dB level sensor for area veloicty flow measurments in open channels and partially filled pipes.
