The EYC FFM04-GF-10TCC20L1VAA420H is a turbine type flow meter, sometimes referred to a rotor type flow meter. Fluid flowing through the device causes the rotor to revolve. As the rotor's blades pass the pickoffs electrical pulses are produced in a frequency that is proportional to the flow rate. The revolutions per minute and the K-factor (number of pulses per gallon) make it possible to calculate the flow volume. This type of meter is best suited to low viscosity media such as water, light fuel, solvent, hydraulic oil, etc.
