Insertion Flow Switches

The EYC FTC05 series flow switches operate on the thermodynamic principle. There are 2 temperature sensors inside the probe. One for medium's temperature and another that is heated up be a few degrees above the medium's temperature. The flow of the medium causes the heat generated in the sensor to be conducted away by the medium. The difference between the temperature is the two sensors is used to calculate the flow rate. These sensors are suitable for a variety of applications including hydraulics, lubrications systems, pump protection systems, cooling systems, water treatment, just to name a few.
