LUTRON DS-2013SD

The Lutron DS-2013SD is a versatile noise dosimeter equipped with an SD card data logger. It adheres to various industry standards, including IEC61252, ANSI S1.25 for noise dose and sound exposure meters, as well as IEC 61672 Class 2 / ANSI S1.4 Type S for sound level meters. This device offers both A and C frequency weighting options, and can measure noise levels ranging from 30 to 130 dB with an auto-ranging feature.

Its LCD display shows readings from 0.01 to 9999%, and users can set the criterion level at 80, 84, 85, or 90dB, depending on their requirements. The exchange rate can be adjusted between 3, 4, 5, or 6 dB, and the threshold level can be set from 70 to 90 dB in 1 dB increments. The device also allows for fast or slow response rates.

Measurements can be taken over various durations, from as brief as 0/1/5/10/15/30 minutes to as long as 1/2/4/8/10/12/24 hours. It uses a 1/2 inch electret condenser microphone for accurate sound capture. The dosimeter is powered by 6 AAA batteries (not supplied) or an optional 9V adapter.

One of its key features is the real-time data logger, which can save data directly onto an SD card as an Excel file. This makes data transfer easy, as no extra software is required to download the data to Excel. The dosimeter supports SD memory cards from 1 GB to 16 GB. It's conveniently sized at 132 x 80 x 32 mm and comes with a microphone clip, an SD card, and a carrying case for portability and ease of use.
