Description

The Lutron GCH-2018 is a combined temperature, humidity, dew point, and carbon dioxide (CO2) meter. The meter is supplied with two probes, one for CO2 and temperature, the other for humidity, temperature and due point. This meter uses a Non- Dispersive Infrared sensor (NDIR). The NDIR sensor emits an infrared light at a specific wavelength that CO2 gas absorbs. By measuring the remaining light after absorption the meter can measure the amount of CO2. There is an alarm setting that can warn when CO2 levels reach a certain level. This meter also calculates dew point automatically from humidity and temperature readings. Data can be transferred from the meter to your laptop or PC via the RS232/USB interface. This meter is battery powered making it ideal for use in the field. An optional power supply is available for laboratory use.
