When Heat Control is Paramount, Use Watlow ASPYRE and DIN-A-MITE

The Watlow Power Controller range is comprised of the ASYPYRE and the DI-NA-MITE Series.  

The Watlow ASPYRE and DI-NA-MITE series are Silicon Controlled Rectifiers (SCR), switching device type of thyristors or power controllers. 

ASPYRE Series features multiple advanced microprocessor-based firing and control mode algorithms. On the other hand, Watlow DI-NA-MITE provides a low-cost option for controlling electric heat. 

Watlow ASPYRE 

ASPYRE comes in two distinct types, AT and DT. 

ASPYRE AT Power Controllers are modular, compact, and scalable SCR power controllers that integrate with Watlow’s EZ-ZONE RM, PM PLUS, and RMA PLUS controllers.   

Power base available: 

• Single-phase, 1 controlled leg   

Line and Load Voltage Range: 

• 100 to 480V   

Voltage Frequency: 

• Automatically compensates for 47 to 63Hz   

ASPYRE DT Power Controllers are modular, flexible, and scalable range that has models with capacities from 35 to 2100amp, with advanced microprocessor-based firing modes and control algorithms. These controllers can manage several types of heater loads.   

Power bases available: 

• Single-phase, 1 controlled leg (2 SCRs) 

• Three-phase, 2 controlled legs (4 SCRs) 

• Three-phase, 3 controlled legs (6 SCRs)   

Line and Load Voltage Range 

• 24 to 480V ±10% min./max. 

• 24 to 600V ±10% min./max. 

• 24 to 690V ±10% min./max. 

• 690VAC only available for 60A and greater models 

• Isolation voltage 2500V   

Voltage frequency  

• 50 to 60Hz

Watlow DI-NA-MITE 

Watlow has four models available under the DIN-A-MITE range: A, B, C and D, that support either single-phase or three-phase operation ranging from 25A to 100A current switching capabilities (depending on the model), and a standard 4-20mA process control.    

Each model is a complete setup equipped with SCR heat sink, wiring and a touch-safe exterior, that is ready for installation.    

The DIN-A-MITE range is mercury-free, designed to an equivalent size, amperage specification and footprint as mercury displacement relays (MDRs).
