Burster Industrial Transducers
Known for their high precision, reliability, and robust designs, Burster transducers are typically found in high-fidelity applications, including production, laboratories, and testing applications where high-accuracy calibration is required.
Load Cell Transducers
ADM Instrument Engineer has been a proud supplier of the Burster range of load cells for many years. Given their small and miniature sizing, the Burster Miniature Tension and Compression Load Cells are used on applications requiring granular detail and accuracy.
Burster’s miniature tension and compression load cells function with internal strain gauges bonded to the load cell’s structure. When force is applied, the ohmic resistance of the measuring bridge changes, detuning the output signal. The detuning of the signal is proportional to the force measurement.

3-point contact mount for tilt-free installation, ideal for sub-optimum mounting surfaces.
Optional pull plate.
Torque Transducers
Torque transducers operate similarly to load cell transducers. With an internal strain gauge bonded to the cell’s structure, the ohmic resistance changes when the structure is deformed from a twist motion, as opposed to compression or pulling. The deformed structure produces a detuned output signal proportional to the force applied.
Users will apply a rod from the torque transducer to a motor or gearbox, an instrument that rotates clockwise or counter-clockwise.

Displacement Transducers
Displacement sensors, or linear potentiometers, are devices that measure the amount of movement or distance between an object and a reference point. They can be used in linear or rotary applications to determine height, thickness, width, and range of motion.
