Rugged Applications Inclinometers – The Posital Inclinometer Range
The Posital inclinometers range is designed for rugged activity applications, enabling angular tilt positional measurements for duty applications found in construction, mining and load handling systems.

These systems are based on Micro-Electrical Mechanical systems, also known as MEMS, which is further supported by two gyroscopes, enabling it to compensate for accelerations and provide accurate measurements regardless of accelerations, sudden shocks and vibrations.
The Posital Inclinometers feature a measurement range of 180° across two axes, covering a full range of motion, enabling both horizontal and vertical mounting. This system provides accurate measurements up to 0.01° resolution, within ±0.3° and 0.5 ° during dynamic movements.

The Posital inclinometers are also feature programmable output, interfacing with CANopen, Analog, DeviceNet, SSI and SEA J1939 communications. The ability to program the inclinometers output enables users to customise to their applications needs, such customising to specific measurement range. This feature is enabled by the Posital UBIFAST configuration tool.
